Surah 2. Al-Baqarah - Part 3 - Brief Explanation

The Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), peace be upon him, is the Imam of the people

۞ وَإِذِ ٱبْتَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ رَبُّهُۥ بِكَلِمَـٰتٍۢ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّى جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًۭا ۖ قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ۖ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهْدِى ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ١٢٤
124. And [mention, O Muḥammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with words [i.e., commands] and he fulfilled them. [Allāh] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [Allāh] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers." *

The servants from different religions spread similar assertions to obscure the true Messenger. They have fabricated a specific name, origin, and even appearance for him. When the true Messenger will come, some may claim he is not the one, merely because his name, appearance, or lineage does not align with what the servants of religion have told them. And such ignorant people will ultimately accept a holographic messiah or a false prophet of the satanists.

No one knows the day the Almighty will send the Messenger, nor are his appearance or name also known.

The true ones are those who follow to the commandments of the Prophet. They unite the nations against the forces of the satanists, protecting the future of your children – so that one day, you will not mourn over lifeless bodies amid ruins, as so many of your brothers and sisters already do in some countries.

The sanctity of the prayer mosque in Mecca and the prayer of Abraham (Ibrahim), peace be upon him, for the safety of this place

وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًۭا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ مُصَلًّۭى ۖ وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلْعَـٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ ١٢٥
125. And [mention] when We made the House [i.e., the Kaʿbah] a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for those who perform ṭawāf1 and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer]."

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَـٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنًۭا وَٱرْزُقْ أَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلًۭا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ١٢٦
126. And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits - whoever of them believes in Allāh and the Last Day." [Allāh] said, "And whoever disbelieves - I will grant him enjoyment for a little; then I will force him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination."

The sacred knowledge has long been forgotten. Today, the servants of religion no longer understand the true purpose of the Kaaba, which was built by the will of the Almighty. Its mystery was revealed in the first part of this book.

The Kaaba is intended to be a precursor to the Holy Cube, guiding people to recognize this sacred symbol. Originally, there were eight stones symbolizing eight lampstands (or tables of numbers), each representing one of the eight wonders of the world. One of these lampstands has been known for thousands of years through the Chinese legend of the turtle. The seven stones in the Kaaba represent the seven lampstands of the Almighty, which remained closed until their designated time.

The prayer of Abraham and Ishmael, peace be with them

وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ ٱلْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ١٢٧
127. And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing.
رَبَّنَا وَٱجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةًۭ مُّسْلِمَةًۭ لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ١٢٨
128. Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites [of worship] and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.
رَبَّنَا وَٱبْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَـٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ١٢٩
129. Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

The days of the Kaaba are sadly nearing their end, as it has fulfilled its purpose: it has awaited the revelation of the sacred сube. This is why the floods around the Kaaba are increasing - a sign from above meant to direct people’s attention to the sacred Cube, which has emerged from the seven lampstands of the Almighty, so that Allah’s will may be fulfilled in these final days of the old world. Only the true ones will enter the world of the next level. Awaken, for the good of your soul.

The commandment to practise patience and prayer

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ ١٥٣
153. O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allāh is with the patient.
وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتٌۢ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌۭ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ ١٥٤
154. And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allāh, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.

A true verse. And remember to pray in your own words, from your heart. Prayer purifies the thoughts and frees them from base desires and the temptation to act against conscience. Turning to the Almighty purifies the soul and fills it with goodness.

The people are inevitably tested

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ ١٥٥
155. And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَـٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۭ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ ١٥٦
156. Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allāh, and indeed to Him we will return."
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَٰتٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ ١٥٧
157. Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided. 

Truly, it is so. Both sufferings and joys are given to us by the Divine will to help the soul to grow, to distinguish between light and darkness and to gain strength. Now the greatest test has come - the last book of the Almighty has been revealed. But the religious servants, the politicians and the media are silent... And you wait for their instructions and decisions, although this exam is meant for all of you.

A curse on those who conceal the signs of Allah

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَآ أَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَٱلْهُدَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّـٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ۙ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يَلْعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّـٰعِنُونَ ١٥٩
159. Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allāh and cursed by those who curse,

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ وَأَصْلَحُوا۟ وَبَيَّنُوا۟ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَأَنَا ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ١٦٠
160. Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.

May the religious servants who read this verse find the inner strength to tell people about the message of the Almighty revealed in 2019.

A curse upon those who died as disbelievers

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ١٦١
161. Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allāh and of the angels and the people, all together,

خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ ١٦٢
162. Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved. 

Is the Almighty in your understanding truly as described here?! Eternal torment from the Absolute of Mercy?

Every person transitions into a new life after death. An atheist who lives according to their conscience can often be closer to Allah than someone who calls themselves a believer. It is not about frightening non-believers but about explaining the sacred texts and the evidence of the Almighty’s existence. For one who does not contribute to awakening others is not yet awakened themselves.

The evidence for the Oneness of Almighty

وَإِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ ۖ لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ١٦٣
163. And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

إِنَّ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَـٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلَّتِى تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن مَّآءٍۢ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍۢ وَتَصْرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَـٰحِ وَٱلسَّحَابِ ٱلْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ ١٦٤
164. Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allāh has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and earth are signs for a people who use reason.

The verse is true! The Almighty is One, and He alone has power over the universe. People who have not yet grown up to their own opinion believe in the doctrines of a demon who claims to be the only Allah. Conscience is a spark of the Almighty - only through it can we find the way to the truth and recognise the deceptions of those who falsify the teachings. The last times have dawned - awaken everyone!

Love for Allah is worship

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَندَادًۭا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَشَدُّ حُبًّۭا لِّلَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ يَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ أَنَّ ٱلْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعَذَابِ ١٦٥
165. And [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allāh as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allāh. But those who believe are stronger in love for Allāh. And if only they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power belongs to Allāh and that Allāh is severe in punishment.

إِذْ تَبَرَّأَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتُّبِعُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ وَرَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ وَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَسْبَابُ ١٦٦
166. [And they should consider that] when those who have been followed disassociate themselves from those who followed [them], and they [all] see the punishment, and cut off from them are the ties [of relationship],

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةًۭ فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّءُوا۟ مِنَّا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ ٱللَّهُ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَمَا هُم بِخَـٰرِجِينَ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ ١٦٧
167. Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allāh show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.

Allah is a teacher. He gives necessary lessons to help man realise certain truths. When a soul is seriously behind in spiritual growth, the Divine Programme reinforces the teaching and guides the person to realise important aspects.

If people forget the main goal of earthly life, become divided, indifferent, godless, turn away from the faith and indulge in vices - then they receive a more severe lesson to lead them back to the path of truth. A people that departs from Allah becomes vulnerable to enemies, and its cities can be destroyed and plundered. The people of such a nation who overcome the challenges and pass on to the next life have the opportunity to recognise their mistakes. Their souls will be purified by understanding the lessons and realising the consequences of their deviation from the true path. It is important to carefully analyse the hints the Creator sends to people, nations and the world through events.

If Allah did not support people's souls through different stages of learning, they would not grow. Verily, the wisdom of the Almighty is absolute, as is His love for each one of us.

Allah does not punish, avenge or curse - He gives every soul the freedom of choice. If a soul does not heed the Creator's advice and wastes its life, even returning to the dust is not a punishment, but the soul's own decision. Therefore, the Almighty is the embodiment of absolute justice. The Creator does not force light and does not lead to darkness, but leaves the choice to the soul. Allah only offers the soul the complete cycle of learning on the paths of light and darkness to help it choose the right path.

How ungrateful are those who cannot feel even the slightest gratitude for His love! And how spiritually blind are those who claim that Allah punishes with eternal fire. They do not hear His voice - the conscience. The Almighty is absolute love.

Satan – the obvious enemy of humanity

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ كُلُوا۟ مِمَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ حَلَـٰلًۭا طَيِّبًۭا وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۭ مُّبِينٌ ١٦٨
168. O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

إِنَّمَا يَأْمُرُكُم بِٱلسُّوٓءِ وَٱلْفَحْشَآءِ وَأَن تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ١٦٩
169. He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allāh what you do not know.

A great verse. There are two kinds of darkness: inner and outer. The inner darkness, comprised of the lower desires of the human soul, is our greatest enemy. It can gradually be overcome through divine inner light and spiritual endeavor. The less darkness remains in the soul, the more light arises within it. Thus, the soul progresses along the true path that also all the righteous have followed.

The outer darkness cannot accomplish anything that the Almighty does not permit, for everything in the universe is subject to His power. By overcoming both inner and outer darkness, the level of the soul increases, which also raises the level of the community and the world. Only by recognizing darkness and light, and by overcoming darkness, can the spiritual growth of both the individual and society be achieved.

Above all holy scriptures stands the voice of the Almighty - the conscience. The conscience cannot be distorted. It will help the world free the scriptures from lies and falsifications.

The stubbornness and blindness of the unbelievers

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُوا۟ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَآ أَلْفَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَآ ۗ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ ١٧٠
170. And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allāh has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?

وَمَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى يَنْعِقُ بِمَا لَا يَسْمَعُ إِلَّا دُعَآءًۭ وَنِدَآءًۭ ۚ صُمٌّۢ بُكْمٌ عُمْىٌۭ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ ١٧١
171. The example of those who disbelieve is like that of one who shouts at what hears nothing but calls and cries [i.e., cattle or sheep] - deaf, dumb and blind, so they do not understand.

A beautiful verse. On one hand, it is important to honor the traditions of our ancestors: the wisdom of many ancient customs has grown over centuries. The memory of our ancestors and the old traditions are like the roots that nourish the tree of a people. Without these roots, the tree withers, just as a people becomes weaker when it forgets the heritage of its ancestors.

On the other hand, it is essential to learn from the mistakes of the past, to avoid them, and not to follow them blindly. People who do not reflect on their actions and blindly repeat mistakes have not yet matured to form their own opinion; they act like a thoughtless mass. People with critically few independent thinkers will inevitably grow weaker and fade into other nations.

The severe punishment for those who conceal and distort the scripture

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَيَشْتَرُونَ بِهِۦ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًا ۙ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ مَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِى بُطُونِهِمْ إِلَّا ٱلنَّارَ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ١٧٤
174. Indeed, they who conceal what Allāh has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allāh will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشْتَرَوُا۟ ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةَ بِٱلْهُدَىٰ وَٱلْعَذَابَ بِٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ ۚ فَمَآ أَصْبَرَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ ١٧٥
175. Those are the ones who have exchanged guidance for error and forgiveness for punishment. How patient they are for [i.e., in pursuit of] the Fire!

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ نَزَّلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَفِى شِقَاقٍۭ بَعِيدٍۢ ١٧٦
176. That is [deserved by them] because Allāh has sent down the Book in truth. And indeed, those who differ over the Book are in extreme dissension. 

This is a true verse addressed to the religious servants who have allowed distortions in the Holy Quran. These distortions can be easily recognised by reading and understanding the texts of the Quran  thru the voice of the Almighty - conscience. 

Those who believe in texts that depict eternal torment in fire as the Almighty's vengeance do not carry a true conviction of faith, as they are imagining a cruel, merciless God - a vengeful, not wise, and a tyrannical ruler rather than a teacher. These images of terror have been inserted by the Vatican into the Tanakh, the Bible, the Quran and other scriptures. 

The time has come to purify all the Scriptures of these distortions. True faith can only exist where there is confidence that the Creator is not mistaken.

What makes righteousness

۞ لَّيْسَ ٱلْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلْبِرَّ مَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَءَاتَى ٱلْمَالَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ ذَوِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَـٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينَ وَٱبْنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَٱلسَّآئِلِينَ وَفِى ٱلرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَى ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَـٰهَدُوا۟ ۖ وَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ فِى ٱلْبَأْسَآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ وَحِينَ ٱلْبَأْسِ ۗ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ١٧٧
177. Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allāh, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakāh; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.

A true verse. It does not matter in which direction one turns during prayer, whether east, west, north, or south. The Almighty sees and hears everywhere, for the entire Universe lie within His sphere. Do not do good deeds merely to gain paradise, for such actions are based on self-interest and do not stem from a high level of the soul. Instead, strive to feel genuine joy for those you help.

The highest degree of a good deed is achieved when the recipient does not know that the assistance comes from you - only you and the Almighty know it, and that alone makes your soul rejoice. Blessed are those who do good not to gain praise, but from the deepest desire of their soul. This is what the Quran teaches us.
