You are invited to re-read the Quran on your own. Arm yourself with reason and listen to the voice of your conscience as you re-read every phrase of the Holy Scripture.
In this part of the book it is presented an example of reading certain chapters from the Quran, to remove the distortions that have arisen during the writing, rewriting, or translation of the texts:
6. Guide us to the straight path -
7. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray. (Surah Al-Fatihah - 1-7 - Quran.com)
Perhaps it was originally said this: "Go on the straight path and not on the path of the erring".
